Materialising poetry through architecture, spaces, objects and art.
Material Poet is a multidisciplinary studio that explores visual language through the use of tangible materials and physical mediums. We create from the small scale, all the way through to the large. Our work spans across ephemeral architecture, including installations, pavilions, and exhibitions, as well as interiors, set design, furniture, art installations, and visual artwork. Artworks are sold in our online store and unveiled as soon as new collections are released.
The Material Poet
The studio is led by designer and artist Francesca Moroni. With a background in architecture and spatial design, she is continually seeking to uncover compositions that generate compelling stories and immersive experiences, at times blurring the boundaries between creative disciplines.
Whilst studying and working in Barcelona, Francesca contributed to the realisation of both ephemeral and permanent works such as installations, pavilions and exhibitions. Since returning home in 2024, she now seeks to foster a world that celebrates unique and memorable moments that are ignited through architecture, design and art — material poetry.
Acknowledgement Of Country
Material Poet acknowledges the Bundjalung people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we create and share our work. We pay our deepest respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture.
